Every head-to-head on Daily Gaming ends with a result that decides who gets paid, so it's worth explaining exactly how that result is decided. Short version: a screenshot of the real final score, confirmed by your opponent, with a review process for the times you don't agree.
Before kickoff: the lobby capture
When both players confirm they're ready, Daily Gaming captures the pre-game lobby: gamertags, teams and matchup. It's a record of who played whom, taken before either player has any reason to dispute anything. If the matchup doesn't look right, both players see a warning before they start.
After the game: screenshot, then confirmation
When the game ends, you upload a screenshot of the in-game final score screen. That's the real result screen, not a score you type in. Your opponent then confirms the result. Most matches end right there: the loser confirms, and the escrow contract pays the winner automatically.
When you both claim the win
If both players say they won, the match goes into review. AI screenshot analysis compares both final-score screenshots with the pre-game lobby capture to work out who actually won. When the evidence is clear, the match settles. When it isn't (a blurry screenshot, a mismatch, a low-confidence read), it goes to manual review, where a member of the Daily Gaming team looks at the evidence and makes the call.
If nobody can decide
If a disputed match can't be resolved within the review window, both players get their entry back. A refund is better than paying the wrong person. The Contest Rules spell out the timing for each step, including what happens when a player doesn't show up or doesn't respond.
What this means for you
- Take a clear screenshot of the final score screen before you leave it.
- If you lost, confirm the result so the match closes quickly.
- If you disagree, dispute it; don't just ignore it. Your screenshot is your evidence.
